I so badly want to move to KDE

I recently tried out KDE in a virtual machine after years of doing my own thing.

A lot of people who jump into Linux will typically present the same symptoms: the initial disappointment, enthusiasm to try everything out, familiarity, the occasional re-appearance of disappointment due to minor inconveniences.

Maybe my characterization of these symptoms is off, I'm not a doctor. But I feel like I'm in that last stage and my only cure is to move to a polished system that's got it all figured out for me.

I don't want to put too much pressure on the KDE folks, but have you seen all the cool stuff they're doing? No wonder they're getting funded left and right, they deserve it!

Void has served me very well, I admire the work that goes to keeping the wheels turning but I feel like I'm back in that second stage. I can't help but feel like I want to start afresh, perhaps with Fedora or KDE Linux, and take KDE for a real spin, to use as a daily driver.

I'm hesitating quite a bit with this decision, because my system works very well for me. Too much of me has been poured into it, and that reflection will almost certainly subside in a pre-constructed environment.
